The Bridge Mentoring Program
“Working with my peers has strengthened my passion for the STEM career field I seek to enter. A natural mentorship forms when seniors share their research and work experience with juniors; juniors share their professional development skills with sophomores; and sophomores work with freshmen on how to begin preparing for life in and out of college,” said Giovanna Valle-Ramos, MAKERS STEM Mentoring Bridge Program participant.
“This program has provided me the opportunity to gain skills and experiences needed to succeed and allowed me, as a Hispanic woman, to become more competitive when seeking out internships and jobs.” She said.
